County Substance Abuse Grant
Yearly awards are available to fund counties for substance abuse prevention services such as education, prevention, referral, intervention or post-treatment services. A three to one local match is required. Counties may sub-contract with a local non-profit organization. These funds cannot be spent for treatment services.
Objective:
To provide substance abuse services except treatment services through County Boards of Supervisors
Funded counties:
In FY16, 30 counties requested and received funding.
