Advisory Committee

Creating programs for genetic disorders relies on perspectives from a multitude of disciplines. Our Congenital and Inherited Disorders Advisory Committee (CIDAC) brings together representatives from professional groups, agencies, legislators, consumers and individuals with an interest in promoting genetic services. Together, they provide advice and recommendations for the design and implementation of genetic disorder programs within the Iowa Department of Public Health.

Our Advisory Committee is made up of a diverse group of individuals from a variety of disciplines. Our combined perspectives allow us to devise solutions to complex problems. To view a copy of our current committee, click here PDF. Contact information is also provided if you have a question for a specific committee member. If you have a general question for the advisory committee, please contact Kimberly Piper at 1-800-383-3826. Questions can also be answered by consulting the advisory committee manual PDF.
