Advisory Council on Brain Injuries
The Advisory Council on Brain Injuries meets in January, April, July, and October on the third Friday of the month from 10am until approximately 3pm. Meetings are open to the public and the agenda outlining the meeting topics, time and location are posted below along with other meeting materials.
Individuals who which to attend the meeting but require reasonable accommodations to do so should contact the BI program manager of specific needs at least 3 days prior to the meeting.
Task Force meetings
The Advisory Council on Brain Injuries has two standing task force committees: the Executive Task Force and the State Plan Task Force. Additionally, the chair of the council may appoint any additional task forces as needed. Currently, the ACBI has a Service Task Force and the Prevention Task Force. More information about the former committees can be found by clicking on the corresponding tab in the upper left hand corner of this page. Any scheduled meetings of task force committees will be listed in below. Anybody may serve on a task force and the meetings are open to the public. These meetings typically take place the day of a full council meeting. In between meetings, teleconference may be utilized due to the brevity of the meeting and distance members would need to travel to attend.
