What Do I Need to Do to Legally Manufacture Medical Cannabidiol in Iowa?

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) will use a competitive process for the selection of up to two medical cannabidiol manufacturers in Iowa. The manufacturers selected through the competitive process will obtain licenses from the IDPH to legally manufacture, possess, cultivate, harvest, transport, package, process, or supply medical cannabidiol in Iowa.  The licensed medical cannabidiol manufacturers must agree to begin supplying medical cannabidiol to licensed dispensaries in Iowa no later than December 1, 2018.

Interested parties must carefully review the Request for Proposal document and follow the instructions contained therein; as well as obtain and include in their application all required forms posted below. Note that this Request for Proposal does NOT provide funding from the Department to the successful licensee(s).
