Who are WIC Vendors?

WIC vendors are an essential part of providing successful services to WIC participants. Information found here will assist stores wanting to become an authorized Iowa WIC vendor and those that already are.

What is my role as a WIC vendor?

Approved WIC vendors enable WIC participants to redeem their food instruments for nutritious foods. Prices charged to WIC participants must be equal to or less than the prices charged to all other customers.

Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.
