Pending Rule Changes

The board is considering proposed changes to its rules to clarify license renewal and reinstatement requirements, license reactivation requirements, applicant responsibilities, procedures for review of applications, and grounds for denial of an application.  The proposed rules would also prohibit a person from holding both an active apprentice license and active specialty license at the same time -- one of the licenses would have to be placed on inactive status.  The proposed changes will be published as a Notice of Intended Action on January 18, 2017, with a public comment period through February 7, 2017. A copy of the proposed amendments can be downloaded below.
