Refugee Health Program Home

The goal of the Iowa Refugee Health Program is to ensure an initial domestic health assessment is completed for each newly arriving refugee. The purpose of the domestic health assessment is to identify and address immediate health needs such as immunization requirements for school, employment and adjustment of status, and to evaluate for diseases of public health significance.

The completed Iowa Refugee Health Assessment form provides the necessary information to monitor refugee health concerns and identify follow-up services.
